Val Duncan is a performer and theatre-maker based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
She has been privileged to train nationally and internationally with Double Edge Theatre (USA), Butoh GooSayTen (JPN), Kokoro Dance, and Ghost River Theatre (CAN).
Since 2008, she has been a member of Theatre Encounter, an experimental performance company in Calgary. In addition to acting and directing, she has composed music, facilitated workshops, and acted as the producer for multiple Encounter projects.
In 2012, she and Celene Harder formed Valour & Tea, a company devoted to character-driven, audience-interactive comedy, with shows touring Western Canada.
In addition to her work on Canadian stages, Val can also been seen in multiple film and television productions, including Don't Say Its Name and Wynonna Earp.
